There’s something about hometown. It’s been the setting for so many experiences—your first day of school, your first little league game, your first crush, and your first day behind the wheel. Perhaps it saw your high school graduation and your first job. It’s the same way with churches. Anderson, Indiana, has been home to the Main Street Church of God (formerly Jackson Park) congregation for one hundred years. Hometown is extremely important to the church. Simply put, Anderson matters to Main Street Church of God! That’s just one reason the church’s new Life Hacks 101 ministry was launched. On Saturday, April 29, Life Hacks 101 held its first-ever workshop on building winning résumé, free to the community and designed to help residents on the path to gainful and meaningful employment.
